Along the lines of what Mr.rogers asked- Has anyone tried the GSR cams in a Type-R motor with the JRSC? Or going with some GSR pistons with the Type-R cams left in? I thought I had read here where some one used the Type-R cams in a GSR motor with the JRSC and saw appreciable gains, would that not work in reverse?
Also since TOO's most talked about system is on a Type-R has anyone asked him for tuning suggestions(other than for modding the SC itself)?

Give em hell Mike! I'll think I'll be telling my tale regarding the JRSC soon. Just one more thing to take care of.

I have to agree with Javin here...
Here is my two cents on this:
I bought a JR Supercharger just before NOPI '98. I began installing it just TWO days before the NOPI show began. I had not even test-driven the car before the first wave of cars showed up in my parking lot for the Super Street tour... I just jumped in the car and drove toward Atlanta. I was having horrible detonation problems... so bad that I could not stay in the throttle. At the first fuel stop, I scrambled around for a timing light to help tune some of the pinging out. It was better, but far from perfect. So, when I got to NOPI, the first thing I wanted to do was voice my frustrations to a JR rep... so I meet this guy named Oscar. After telling him what my problems were, he simply asks "Where is your car" ??? I said, "Why" ??? He says: "Cause I want to work on it" !!! So, I take him out to my car and he does some tuning... turns out that the damn POS Gude ECU is the root of the problem and after switching it out, the car runs just fine.
The bottom line here is that Oscar Jackson worked on MY car... he rolled up his sleeves and got dirty for me... so that I would be happy with his product !!!
This meant so much to me that I immediately became a dealer. I like companies that take good care of me... because then I can take better care of MY customers... people like you guys here.

reading this story... I wonder... Did you also have a gude cam that was messed up?? and you showed oscar and I while we were at your car?? you were going to return it cuz it was messed up?? or was this another guy??

I have a jrsc civic ex with an automatic, with thermal exhaust, short intake w/ram air, ignition wires, colder plugs. I can't even beat a near Stock Si (aem cai).
But the guys at john eagle honda were cool and they just tightened my belt for me (free of course). Hopefully I got faster. But i'm probably only putting about 120-130 at the wheels. I'm sad.

Pest,
YEAH !!! That was me and my Blue Del Sol... would you believe that Bill Gude NEVER straightened things out with me on those bad parts and core deposits... since he wouldn't refund my money, I agreed to get a "Head Package" from him instead. They demanded a $500 deposit on the cores, so I sent them a check and got the package. It was installed in a '95 EX coupe, and the best the car can muster up at the track is a 16.20... it ran 16.10's BEFORE the head package !!!
Who exactly were you then ??? I am trying to remember... did you work for Oscar ???
